What we are not

We are not an insurer, a broker or an authorised representative of any insurer. We don't sell green slips, arrange insurance, give quotes, take applications or recommend any insurer or policy. As at 30 October 2026, we don't receive payments from insurers, and the links to insurer websites on this site are plain links with no affiliate or tracking code.

How we name insurers

Where we name an insurer, it's because SIRA lists it as a licensed NSW CTP insurer. We list insurers in alphabetical order, and the order is not a ranking. Our insurer fact sheets only use facts from SIRA and from the insurer's own website, with the date we read them. They aren't reviews and they don't say one insurer is better than another.

The official source

The State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) regulates the NSW CTP scheme and is the official source of green slip information. Prices come from insurers, and SIRA's free Green Slip Price Check shows quotes from all licensed insurers.

Each page on this site lists the official sources we used and the date we checked them. Rules and figures change, so check SIRA, Service NSW or your insurer before you make a decision. Where a figure appears, it's dated to the page it came from, for example "as published by SIRA on" a given date.
